With news that this week might be the hottest week of the year so far you might be asking “how am I going to stay cool!” We’ve put together a list of the five coolest spots in Bristol where you can breathe a sigh of relief and beat the heat.

Chill out:

Grab an iced coffee and sit in the shade outside one of Bristol’s Boston tea party cafes. Just don’t forget your reusable cup…

Game of cones:

Swoon gelato on Park Street serves the best gelato in the whole of Bristol. That’s gelato, not ice cream! With so many flavours to try you won’t be able to stop yourself going back again and again.

Sundae school:

Too hot to step outside? Make your own super simple clotted cream ice cream using just three ingredients: Good quality shop bought custard, Trewithen Dairy Cornish clotted cream and BerryWorld raspberries! Combine the clotted cream and custard in a bowl, transfer to an ice  cream maker, and once fully churned mix through a few crushed raspberries!

Shake it up:

Looking for somewhere to keep it cool on Whiteladies road? Head into Hubbox for one of their frozen cocktails

Get chilli:

They say spicy food can actually cool you down (science…). So book a table at Nutmeg in Clifton to enjoy dishes inspired by the different states of India. Their fab new lunch menu features lighter dishes, so better to enjoy in the heat!
