At PamLloyd PR, we are lucky enough to be the media relations partner for a variety of fantastic clients across the fresh produce, product and hospitality sectors. August has been a hive of activity at PLPR HQ and there really is never a dull moment! Here is a whistle-stop tour of recent news and updates…
BerryWorld: Kiwi Berries
Kiwi berries are now in season until October. If you haven’t heard of a kiwi berry, your mind is about to be blown. Kiwi berries are mini kiwis roughly the size of a 1p coin that you can eat whole without peeling. They can be used in salads, drinks, bakes or eaten straight from the punnet. Kiwi berries are considered a super fruit and are packed with more Vitamin C than an orange. If you are a journalist and would like to sample some, please Get in touch.
Chantenay: New Season
The new season for Chantenay carrots has kicked off. These wonderful vegetables require no peeling – saving on time and food waste – and are very versatile. Whether you’re dipping them in hummus, adding them to them a salad, blitzing them into juice or roasting them in the oven, Chantenay carrots can be enjoyed any time.
Three Choirs: Award-winning Red
Wine lovers rejoice! National Red Wine Day is approaching on 28th August. Three Choirs Vineyards recently won Gold in the WineGB Awards (Best Blended Red for its Ravens Hill red wine) so, if you have plans to celebrate with a lovely glass of red next week, we highly recommend you try this one.
Swoon: New Opening
Swoon is on the move as it opens its 3rd site in Oxford this week. Go and see the lovely Swoon Oxford folk at 21 High Street and sample their award-winning gelato. What a perfect treat for the bank holiday weekend.
